Maintenance Supervisor/Superintendent
The Maintenance Supervisor manages and coordinates necessary repairs on all fixed assets site wide in a safe and efficient manner to achieve established maintenance objectives within approved budgets, company guidelines and legal requirements.
Essential duties:
Interfaces with various departments as necessary to successfully execute and close out projects while integrating them into existing operations
Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff
Taking part in developing maintenance policies and standards
Coordinating training sessions in facility maintenance, safety procedures, and methods
Communication and tracking of work orders and projects
Oversight of construction & installation (pfd, p&id, general layout, mechanical, assembly, electrical, control
drawings)
Supervision of construction contractors and design firms
Troubleshoot system problems and resolve by modification, replacement
Assist instrument techs, mechanics, electricians in troubleshooting and setup of equipment
Responsible for motivating maintenance personnel to accomplish company objectives
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Plan and direct maintenance operations in a safe and efficient manner to ensure equipment’s operability
levels to achieve plant production goals
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in plant maintenance operations or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum 3 years supervisory or managerial experience required
Excellent time management and organizational skills
High School Diploma
Mechanical Engineering Degree Preferred
Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record are required in order to drive company vehicles on property
