Maintenance Supervisor/Superintendent

The Maintenance Supervisor manages and coordinates necessary repairs on all fixed assets site wide in a safe and efficient manner to achieve established maintenance objectives within approved budgets, company guidelines and legal requirements.

Essential duties:

  • Interfaces with various departments as necessary to successfully execute and close out projects while integrating them into existing operations

  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff

  • Taking part in developing maintenance policies and standards

  • Coordinating training sessions in facility maintenance, safety procedures, and methods

  • Communication and tracking of work orders and projects

  • Oversight of construction & installation (pfd, p&id, general layout, mechanical, assembly, electrical, control

    drawings)

  • Supervision of construction contractors and design firms

  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve by modification, replacement

  • Assist instrument techs, mechanics, electricians in troubleshooting and setup of equipment

  • Responsible for motivating maintenance personnel to accomplish company objectives

  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive

  • Plan and direct maintenance operations in a safe and efficient manner to ensure equipment’s operability

    levels to achieve plant production goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in plant maintenance operations or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Minimum 3 years supervisory or managerial experience required

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • High School Diploma

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree Preferred

  • Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record are required in order to drive company vehicles on property
