Operations Superintendent

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Operations Superintendent located in a great location in the mid-atlantic East Coast. As an Operations Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the plant facility including safety, environmental compliance, production, and maintenance. You will work closely with the management team to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability. In this role, you will supervise a team of employees and provide leadership and coaching to promote engagement and development. We are seeking a strong process/chemical engineering background coupled with strong leadership capability in an industrial plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Extensive knowledge of plant operations, safety procedures, environmental regulations, and maintenance practices.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of employees.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
